Green Arrow is here to crusade for the working class and disadvantaged! “More Fun Comics #73” first brought the Robin Hood-esque character to life in November 1941. The plethora of trick arrows this hero archer invented has included explosives, nets, kryptonite, tear gas, glue, and even boxing glove arrows. The gritty, streetwise Arrow is one of the few great holdovers from the Golden Age of Comic Books. Green Arrow was often substituted in stories for Batman, but he came solidly into his own in 1970 when paired with the Green Lantern in a socially conscious series.
